It builds the capacities of National Societies in the areas related to providing assistance and protection to migrants, environment and climate change, youth, Principles and Values and IHL, all through the promotion of intercultural dialogue as a cross-cutting theme.

The Centre works on improving partnership with the IFRC and ICRC, with the UN and EU organisms and agencies, through online tools and the implication of volunteers.

The CCM will increase its presence with a participative, dynamic and updated website; by contacting institutions focused on the Mediterranean region; giving visibility to forums and networks working on the areas of concern; editing and uploading general and specific publications; and updating its participation in the Movement's means of dissemination.
