The Maritime Rescue program aims to protect human life at sea, as well as the fight against marine pollution.
The Spanish Red Cross collaborates with the State Maritime Rescue and Safety Society (SASEMAR) for the search and rescue of people in danger at sea, responsible body throughout the Spanish state in terms of coordination through its centers distributed throughout the coast.
