From the center, located in the Provincial Office of Lugo, specific actions are carried out with the collective of passers-by and the homeless, to contribute to the improvement of their quality of life.
It aims to support people who are in situations of vulnerability, contributing to the coverage of their basic needs.
We carry out the following activities:
- Support, reception, information, care and advice.
- Accompaniment. Breakfast. Laundry and Showers.
- Delivery of hygiene products.
- Aids. Occupational workshops, cultural outings.
- Support for self-care.
In this project, a group of volunteers distribute food, blankets or other things, but also serve, in many cases as the social link that these people need to get out of the situation in which they are.
In addition, there is a social work of offering resources or referral. We try to improve the personal capacities to enable the carrying out processes of social inclusion.
We also have a street action group that supports those who do not regularly visit our center.
