With our new Health Plan we act in the awareness and prevention, giving in addition care for people with unhealthy lifestyle and to people with inadequate management of their disease
We aim to support people who come to the Red Cross, or who already serve for various reasons and personal circumstances, to improve their health and therefore their physical, mental and social.
It is also intended to act on people who already have some problem to do an adequate management of their health, giving them a closer attention, developing individualized plans and carrying out a follow-up of each case.
To follow treatments or improve habits, it is necessary to have information, resources and motivation. All this can mean a substantial change in the quality of life.
Beyond prevention, we approach the management of each person's health, complementing the Public Health Services.
The new People Care Framework (MAP), which improves our response, will help us support people with an unhealthy lifestyle and assist those people with difficulties to follow their treatments.
