Act of recognition to companies collaborating with the Red Cross in Lugo
In 2017 the collaboration of 1001 companies was achieved and 179 labor insertions were achieved
The ceremony took place on the day December 28th from 7 pm in the Auditorium Afundación in the Main Office of ABanca in Lugo. The companies that collaborated most actively received a diploma.
The event counted with the participation of Luis Abelleira, President of the Spanish Red Cross in Lugo, who appreciated the involvement of Lucense business fabric in the construction of a fairer society, both in terms of employment and in the development of social projects, and also with the people responsible for the main collaborating companies and with people participating in theEmployment Plan of the Spanish Red Cross Lugo.
The diplomas were delivered to the companies Cafés Candelas, Insuiña, NovaFrigsa, Torre de Nuñez, Vegalsa, Magnesitas de Rubián, Asogal, Caixa Rural, Fundación CEL, Distribuciones Dosgar and ALUMA Peluqueros.
The corporate social challenge it is an alliance for employment and social insertion, between the Red Cross and the companies, which receive internships, provide training or contact when they need to hire a new employee; In this way, companies get skilled workers who have demonstrated their capabilities, while hiring the people who need it most.
The Employment Plan of the Spanish Red Cross in Lugo has the support of Ministry of Employment and Social Security and the European Social Fund through the Operational Program of Social Inclusion and Social Economy (POISES) of Youth Employment (POEJ) for the period 2016-2019.
